SATHYA SAI BABA IN WORD AND ACTION
INVESTIGATIVE STUDIES, REPORTS AND VIEWPOINTS ON ALL SERIOUS ISSUES CONNECTED TO THE SELF-APPOINTED 'AVATAR OF THE AGE'
Self-proclaimed 'Man of Miracles', God Incarnate, and Saviour of All Mankind, whose following is claimed to be in the millions -
died 24/4/2011, a decade before he predicted. See chronicle of events here
former website at http://home.no.net/anir/Sai, and http-home.no.net-anir-Sai-enigma.html - this saibaba-x site showcases the views of some former Sathya Sai Organisation members (ex-devotees) with full rights to expose all those who deceived them
Sathya Sai Baba died aged 84 after being disconnected from life support, though no post mortem took place and no legal death certificate was issued. The cause of his very severe weight loss and organ failures remains unknown, as does the actual date of his death which evidence indicates was considerable earlier than claimed. His famous several different public predictions that he would live until he reached an age between 92 and 96 were put to shame. (See here) His teachings - when examined critically - are shown not to stand up to analysis, being simplistic, often simply untrue and frequently self-contradictory. As a form of cultist programming, the potential psychological and social dangers of his unrealistic and essentially otherworldly religious indoctrination are real enough. That he does not practice many of his own strong moral precepts (truthfulness, abstension from desire, non-ownership) on which he stakes his own credibility, is well documented Read More The International Sathya Sai Organization, though supported by many good yet naively uncritical people, both financially and through service projects was - and remains - largely clandestine and secretive. It has no public charter, is not formally incorporated in most countries (unless for tax-free charitable donations) and is legally unaccountable in India. It published no charter and no minutes of proceedings. Its accounts were first partially revealed only after 2011. It is extremely authoritarian, its members must sign that they have no rights to information or redress of any kind, and thus they are invariably not legally protected for activities they undertake in its name. |
