Conny Larsson, author of “Behind the Clown's Mask” describes his 31-year long journey in two Indian cults

I am Conny from Sweden. I am one of the pilots of that spacecraft that took off from a Mountain as described today by another speaker. Unfortunately however, I was not only the pilot on one spacecraft but of two, because on the way I first stepped off into the Transcendental Meditation (TM) movement and, all in all, the journey took 31 years.

I finally crash landed in 1999 on this strange planet which we call earth and now I am trying to sort out who I am and who the rest of earth’s population are.

I was lured by two world-wide organisations, TM and the Sathya Sai Baba Organisation, attracted by the language used by my masters – the “flower language”, flower power language that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the TM organisation’s master used. Those who are my age will remember him: the Indian fellow that came with the Beatles, he was also called “the Beatle’s Guru”.

To begin with, I’ll tell you what happened during my TM period. It seemed to be a very innocent group where we were told that it’s teaching were not religious. We were just going to be so nice and happy, TM just taught us to relax 2 hours a day: that was the message.

I joined that organisation in 1967 and in 1969 I became a teacher of the meditation which we were assured was absolutely not religious. I had to go to the Himalayas and of course the indoctrination turned out to be religious as well.

In 1971, I became the guru’s private secretary and travelled with him everywhere – day and night. Strangely enough although we were supposedly going on non-political missions we visited Haile Selassi: the Emperor of Ethiopia, Mr. Nixon, King Olaf of Norway, King Carl Gustaf of Sweden, the Prime Minister of Finland, the King of Denmark…

Maharishi just wanted to change the world by telling it to relax, because in fact he wanted everyone to become TM meditators, regardless of whom and what they were. He made people feel so welcome but his ultimate aim, which I only began to understand after 1975 when I left the organisation, was to create a world government and, until today there is a parallel world government run by Ministers, Maharajas and Kings with plastic crowns and mantles as in the Middle Ages. The fact is that they believe this and they are not just anyone, but well educated people, psychiatrists, doctors, ministers, psychologists, all those people that today appear on the famous TV show run by Oprah Winfrey. Her sponsoring of the movement brings them much success through trumped up support from famous doctors and publications. You can all connect to the Maharishi Satellite Network: there is a very important 24h a day Channel and there it is very easy to see what is going on.

Why did I leave this organisation? I began to wake up when he declared that Mother Teresa was the worst kind of human being on earth. She later won the Nobel Prize. His main problem with her was that he wanted the Nobel Prize for himself. I was told to manipulate those responsible for choosing the people to be nominated. We tried to do this and succeeded, as he had much influence at that time, to get him nominated but this was blocked by King Olaf of Norway.

Levitation by yogi: explanation in photosHe then started saying that all his teachers, I was one of them, were soon going to levitate. We were going to fly and we would visit all kinds of planets about which the psychiatrists and other spiritual teachers were always telling us. I realised that this could not be true as I taught these courses. They called it the TM-Sidhi Programme. At these “flying” courses people would be sitting cross-legs on their backsides on their mattresses and they jumped whilst sitting like this. After a while one could become very skilful and could jump up as high as a metre or so only to fall back again. I heard Maharishi tell a French photographer with a slow camera just to cut the “fall back” part and put the photos together when they were “up” which gave a flying image. So he put them together and this was broadcast all over the world.

This was too much for me and I told my master “I cannot follow you any longer”. So I left in 1975. Personally this was catastrophic for me. I had studied at the Royal Governmental Theatre School in Sweden and had had a very promising start as an actor, also playing in films. I had left this career to follow the “Truth”. That is how I whisked myself away on that spacecraft. I then became the leader at international level of the Swedish TM organisation and deluded people for eight years or so. It took ten years for me to take the decision to leave.

The origins of the belief in levitation go a long way back, especially in India, but also in Roman Catholicism from the Middle Ages until present times. The following images from the work of Basava Premanand, India's first major skeptic and rationalist who worked to dispel superstitions and false religious beliefs. A video in which he demonstrates how levitation was often faked in India (though removed from YouTube) features in a BBC documentary (also on YouTube) called 'The Secrets of Levitation' (scroll through to the middle of the documentary)

The next master that I came across was Sathya Sai Baba. He proclaimed himself to be God. He is not such a lowly person as Jesus, no he is the Father who sent Jesus to earth and he too uses idealistic tempting words such as truth, righteousness, peace, love and non-violence. Mahatma Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Mother Teresa and other famous people, who in fact helped to change the world, used these words. So it is not so exceptional that Sathya Sai Baba uses them but he uses them for his own purpose.

What purpose is that? I believed that it was to change the world and to bring about the Golden age. The Kingdom of Sai was approaching. The Kingdom of Sai meant that we all had to bow down to kiss his big toe.

What did that mean? That anything that he asked us to do we had to do. As in the TM organisation the Sathya Sai Baba organisation presented itself at first with a very low profile.Sai Baba does not need to attract the media, he does not need money, all is free just come and sit in the grace of the Lord.

At the time, for personal reasons, I had to leave Sri Lanka where I had a business. It was thus that I arrived in Puttaparthi and fell at Sai Baba’s feet. I spent 21 years there. He manipulated me. I became his lover, his physical and spiritual lover. For 4 years.

At one time I had tried to get away from him and brought a woman to whom I had become engaged. We told him we wanted to marry. He said NO, and slapped her face saying “You don’t ever touch that boy because he is mine – he is married to me”. I kissed his feet and left that woman whom I had dearly loved because you do what God tells you to do and I thought he was God.

The information that Sai Baba gives about himself is full of lies you can find a great deal of information about him on the web site at http://www.saibaba-x.org.uk/ and/or http://saiguru.net/

In 1993, six inmates of Prashanti Nilayam were murdered in Satya Sai Baba's bedroom. It is alleged that two were killed by the assailants and the police claimed to have shot dead -- in self defence -- four of the assailants, who were armed only with knives. Realizing the danger to his person, Baba Himself ran for His life. Interestingly, all the people killed were part of the inner circle of Sai Baba.

I say now that this organisation is a criminal organisation:– It is a money laundering machine

– From day one it organised a paedophile ring trafficking people back and forth i.e. young Indian boys are sent to America and American coloured men from ghettoes in New York etc. are sent to the Indian fellows and mostly to the Ashram. The Ashram itself today, receives from 10 000 to 1 000 000 people. There is continual trafficking in people that arrive by plane. There is a new airport which has been built.

Does all the money come just from the devotees?

Since Mrs. Indira Gandhi was murdered all the Presidents and Prime Ministers of India have held the first, second or third place on the Central Sathya Sai Baba Trust. $55 million each year comes from the devotees all over the world. I have personally brought in $22 million dollars, others have gone as high as 900 million and even a billion each year. This trust also includes a payroll which deals out payment to Ministers, Supreme Court judges, Directors of CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) all very eminent men in high positions.

I could go on for ever to tell you all that goes on inside this organisation. The Super special hospital that Isaac Tigrett, one of the Founders of the famous Hard Rock Café, donated $108 million to build. Now it looks like a palace. Inside the palace they all say that poor Indians may have treatment free, but don’t ask them when they come out if they still have two kidneys or two lungs.

That is what is happening today. They are taking organs and selling them. Once we had understood that we contacted UNESCO.

In 2000 UNESCO and the Australian Flinders University were sponsoring the Sathya Sai education for children programme. This was directed to many children inside the Ashram and would have meant that 964 different UNESCO organisations from all over the world would be coming into the heart of this paedophile ring. The idea was to captivate them – economically, politically, spiritually, and also physically. Fortunately we managed to topple this plan and asked UNESCO publicly to explain that they had withdrawn from this project and why. Which they did (see: http://www.saibaba-x.org.uk/10/UNESCO.htm)

After I left the movement, I was the Head of a Swedish Government institution for drug addicts and criminals and had settled back in Sweden. After I published my last book “Behind the Mask of the Clown” all hell broke lose. Although I am not a writer like Salman Rushdi, I am hunted down and as soon as they find that I am going to speak anywhere they find me and try to stop me from speaking. This happened before I came to speak to you.

For security reasons I am now living in Cyprus where I am writing my third book. I can no longer stay in my country because the danger is too big. I will not keep quiet and I know too much.
