Ostentatious buildings promoting Sai Baba built for huge sums of money
NOTE: It is not denied that the hospitals, colleges and schools do good for a lot of people. What is questioned are the excessive claims made by Sai Baba about them and the propaganda and disinformation that flourishes. This page presents some of the facts which are swept under the carpet by the Sai movement.

"I know there are many of you who argue and discuss how and in what manner these structures came to be built so grandly. If you have known Me through and through, there will be no such argument at all. You will know that this is but an insignificant product of my power."
(Sathya Sai Speaks Volume XI, page 179)
QUESTION: But these structures were not built by Sai's power but by firms such as Larsen & Tubro (using much cheap coolie labour) and financed by devotees' donations, and with funds solicited through the Sai Organisation?

Speaking of the erection of the Poornachandra Hall at Prashanthi Nilayam, Sai Baba said: "Till now I was engaged in collecting materials - iron, cement, brick, lime and the rest. Now the foundation has been firmly concreted and the building has to rise. That structure of Mine will cover the entire Universe."
